Netgear EX8000 Extender Firmware Update

To update the firmware on your Netgear EX8000 extender, follow these steps:

1. Connect your extender to your router and power on both devices.

2. Open a web browser on a device connected to your extender’s network.

3. Type “mywifiext.net” or “192.168.1.250” in the address bar and press Enter.

4. Log in with your extender’s username and password. If you haven’t changed them, use the default login credentials (username: admin, password: password).

5. Click on “Settings” and then “Firmware Update.”

6. If there’s a new firmware update available, click the “Download” button to start the download process.

7. Once the download is complete, click the “Update” button to install the new firmware.

9. Log back in to the extender’s web interface and verify that the firmware version has been updated.
