New Year’s is the end of one chapter in the life and most of us find it appropriate to make some life-changing resolutions they should respect during the next year. Just like the life has the tendency to change unexpectedly, we have the tendency to let go our resolutions and wander back to days before the 1st of January. Why is this bad? It is bad because it shows a lack of discipline, but you are not the only one who has troubles with sticking to their New Year’s resolution. Because we know it’s difficult, here are the 10 steps you can take to make this resolution real in the upcoming 12 months.
1Make One or Two Resolutions
Focusing on more than two resolutions will be just a waste of energy. “A person who tries to catch two rabbits, catches neither”, said Confucius and you should listen to him, for he knew what he was talking about. Don’t make a list of 10 resolutions you want to achieve in 12 months. Make it 1 or 2 but respect them and dedicate to achieving the goals you set for yourself. Saving your energy for one thing is far more effective than dividing the energy you have into 10 parts and getting nothing done in the end.
