So I got into a discussion on facebook trying to explain to some people that are convinced the Democratic party is somehow the Open Society Foundations and George Soros is somehow funding people to be Professional Anarchist. Lets break down the image that is being shared by people online.
On the paper, it lists a few things
1.) One says “Contact your local Open Society Foundation branch.”
Then it goes onto list the phone number for Thurston County Democrats in Olympia Washington. The phone number is a valid phone number for Thurston County Democrats at the time of this article.

The Thurstan County Democrats is not a local Open Society Foundation branch.
2.) The other way it says to contact the Open Society Foundation branch is through email
The problem with this is the main and official web site for Thurston Democrats is:

the official general support email box for Thurston County Democrats is
not the listed
If you go to
http://thurstoncountydemocrats.org/
as listed on the email address is just goes to a godaddy default splash page as nothing has been setup. When I checked last night that wasn’t even setup to go to the godaddy landing page or even setup.
This is is a very old trick for scammers, hackers, and misinformation peddlers like the different Russian outlets in 2016. They make things seem they are related but have nothing to do with each other. Causing confusion to those that dont know better.
So if you see this picture being shared please dont share the picture. It causes confusion in people that are not
